Concours International de Violon Yuri Yankelevitch

Ce premier concours international de jeunes violonistes, qui aura lieu à Omsk en mars 2009, est créé pour célébrer le centenaire de la naissance de Yuri Yankelevitch, pédagogue légendaire. Issu de la grande tradition de l’École Russe du violon, Yankelevitch fonda sa propre école et donna au monde de la musique les artistes les plus prestigieux. Son nom trouve sa place auprès de Flesch, Auer, Sevcik, Oïstrakh et Galamian.

Yuri Yankelevitch International Violin Competition

This first competition is devoted to the 100th Birth Aniversary of Yuri Yankelevitch, legendary pedagogue. Coming from the great tradition of the Russian Violin School, Yuri Yankelevitch founded his own school and gave the most prestigious artists to the world of music. His name finds its place beside Flesch, Auer, Sevcik, Oistrakh and Galamian.
